Akira heard the bang and nearly screamed. He was starting to have a panic attack now. When he felt himself on the ground, he started thrashing again.
-
"Sh," he said again, this time loudly. He felt himself become scared as the pain became immense. But they would have to keep silent if they would want to stay alive.
-
Akira heard the man shush him so he quieted and stopped moving. He got control of his panic attack and calmed down.
-
Daisuke felt himself ease once Akira remained silent, but it didn't stop his own pain. In a desperate attempt to get the pain to disappear, would try to remove the source of pain.
A bullet. It was deep within him, and the only way to get it out was to pull it out. It was a disgusting thought, but it had to be done. -
Akira, of course, didn't know that the man who stole him got shot, or even who the man was. He was completely clueless.
-
Figuring that he shouldn't bring the young boy to see such a sight, he did it before he would uncover the boy. And it was one of the few times someone would hear him cry and whine as loudly as he did.
-
Akira heard the man crying and started getting concerned. Why was he crying? but he just kept silent and laid there.
-
It took him a while, but after a few moments of loud crying he was able to take the bullet out. Now, his hands bloody, he reached over to pull the bag down to Akira would be able to see.
-
The first thing Akira saw was the blood, and he gasped in shock. "A-are you okay?" he asked, then realizing that was a stupid question, he then said,"Are you gonna be okay?" even though Akira didn't even know this mans name, he was still concerned for him.
-
He only mumbled gruffly as a response. ".. I'll be okay," he said. "It's just my arm.."
-
Akira nodded. "Don't you think you should wrap it up to stop the bleeding?"
-
Daisuke shook his head. "I'd rather not. If I bleed to death, then too bad for me." He had no concern over the bleeding. What he was more concerned about was what was going to happen next.
-
Akira frowned slightly. "I can wrap it for you.." he said. At the orphanage, he had often helped Amma as a nurse when the other kids got in fights or were beaten by the people who owned the orphanage.
-
He sighed, figuring that there was no other way to get through this. But before he would agree to it, he'd have to untie Akira. With his good arm, he loosened the ropes first. ".. Go ahead," he said, holding out his injured arm. It trembled violently and seemed very unstable. Blood still ran down it.
-
Akira shook the ropes off the rest of the way. He went over to the man. He ripped off one of the sleeves to his shirt and warped it around the wound, trying his best to be gentle. He tied it tightly around the wound then tore off his other sleeve and tied it as well. He thought it would help stop the quick blood flow.
