The whole time, Daisuke would be biting back moans and whining of his pain. He knew it would be unmanly of him to do such a thing. But the tears in his eyes did show that he wasn't as tough as he would seem he was.

Akira wiped his hands against his pants, trying to get the little bit of blood off. He looked at the man. "You never told me your name.." he said.

He stared at the other male for a few seconds before answering. "Daisuke," he said simple, his voice shaking as he spoke. "You?"

"Akira. Akira Tsukino." he said. He thought the man's name was interesting, Daisuke.

He nodded, taking the name into account. He knew he'd have to memorize it for future references. "Alright."

"So, what are we doing?" Akira asked. "You're not going to kill me, are you?" even though he knew there was nearly no chance of that, he was still cautious.

"I took you out of that hellhole," he said softly. "No, I'm not going to kill you. I'm armed so I'm still a threat, though." Okay, maybe the last of what he said wasn't the best thing to say.

That last thing Daisuke said made Akira's eyes widened. He scooted away from him a bit, the fear blossoming again.

"I'm not going to hit you," he said, almost boredly. "I'm not going to screw my image up even further."

Akira wasn't about to trust him, but he believed what Daisuke was saying. Even if the guy did seem a bit shady, he had helped Akira get away from that torture. And he was grateful. "Thank you.." Akira said quietly.

Daisuke sighed. "Welcome, kid." He looked over at the rag that kept him from bleeding to death, and realized that it was nearly completely red. He paled but didn't say anything. "We better get moving before they catch us." -
"Okay.." Akira said. He got up, brushing the dirt off his pants.

Daisuke got up himself, feeling extremely shaky and weak. But he refused to whine.

Akira looked at Daisuke, ready to follow him.
