"Come," he almost groaned, half limping and half walking as he tried to 'rush'.

Akira quickly went to his side. "You shouldn't exert yourself too much. You lost quite a bit of blood. You need to get something to eat."

"No.. I'm going to be fine, kid," he grumbled lightly, continuing to walk at his own pace.

"Seriously, you could pass out from exerting too much energy.. Then we wouldn't get anywhere and those mean people would probably kill us." Akira said.

Daisuke sighed and stopped. He seemed annoyed. "Whatever."

Akira stopped as well. "Perhaps we should try finding some shelter where you can rest.." he said, beginning to look around.

He nodded a bit, watching as the other boy looked around.

Akira started wandering around, trying to find some place where they could hide together.

Daisuke simply followed him, knowing he couldn't do much more. -
Akira eventually found something. It was a hollow spot in the ground, but it was covered with bushes, so it was hard to find. It looked like it would be enough to fit both of them.

"That looks like a good place.." he muttered lowly. He felt a rush of hope come to him, the thought of staying alive now seeming like it were possible.

Akira nodded. "Well you get in first." he said.

Daisuke only nodded and dragged himself in there.

Akira got in on the side away from Daisuke's bad shoulder. There wasn't a whole bunch of space, so he had to curl up close to the older man's side. Which Akira found pleasant since it was a cold night and Daisuke was pretty warm.
