I'll say right now that I'm not gonna start an argument.
I love Taylor Swift music. I find it upbeat and just because bad things go on in your life doesn't mean you have to hate and be jealous of anyone that is happier than you. It's some of the little music left that isn't "b----" this and "f---" that. That may make it seem little kid like, but do you really want the generations of the future all being "My favorite star says bad things. So f--- you!"? It sounds stupid and immature. I'll admitt, I swear, but only when I'm fed up with stuff or in a bad mood. I think metal music is pointless and just screaming into a microphone, but I don't go to everyone that says, "Metal" and say, "Metal music is crap. Don't listen to it. All it consists of is screaming about death" What if I became famous someday? If I had a happy song, would you all hate me? If I were sucessful, would you hate me? If I sang to the young instead of old ladies, would you hate me? If you answered yes, I think you need to stop being so shallow and accept people by personality, not by what they sing. Do any of you know Swift? I don't think you have the right to say "She's not normal" celebrities face problems too. -

I have a tendency to respond like that once someone responds like the above :P I get instantly annoyed when someone mentions me being jealous of someone with mediocre talent. (Again, not saying Taylor sucks, but she is kinda mediocre if you think about it)

I grew out of her. I got tired of listening to her sing about her ex's. Her music is okay at first but after a while it annoys me. And the song "mean" made me laugh... and I nearly hit the floor during the video. I think she's a good role model and everything though.

i personally think shes ok like shes pretty and can sing and she has a great voice but when i go to youtube to listen to random music ahed be the last person to listen to -
