"Yup. Never better." Jayden said in between sobs.

Chester sat next to him, worried he’d done something wrong. ‘D-Do you need a hug? What happened?’

Jayden looked at him, hugging him tightly. "C-can you kick Benji out?" He asked weakly. "Please?"

Chester’s face softened and he rubbed Jayden’s back, holding him close. ‘Of course, love. I-I’ll get him kicked out immediately. What happened?’

"He-" Jayden took a deep breath. "He kept flirting and trying to get me to get back with him and he- he didn't let me go until I said I would."

Chester’s expression was unreadable. He pulled Jayden closer, trying to soothe him. ‘A-And you said you would?’

Jayd buried his face in Chester's shirt. "I'm so sorry."

‘Hey, don’t be sorry,’ Chester said softly, holding him close. ‘I get it. And you’re safe, okay? We’ll kick him out and you’ll never have to see him again.’

"O-okay." Jayden mumbled, holding onto him tightly.

Chester rubbed his back, exhaling shakily. At least he knew that Jayden didn’t love Benji, since he was breaking down like this…

Jayden looked up. "Could we go to your room?" He asked quietly.

‘Of course,’ Chester said softly, standing up and holding out a hand to Jayden.

Jayden took his hand, standing up as well.

Chester wrapped an arm around his shoulders gently, moving out of the library. ‘I’m sorry that happened, love.’

Jayden didn't say anything, leaning into him.
