Chester rubbed his side, looking down at him in concern. He sighed and they got to his room.

Jayden crashed onto Chester's bed, curling up in a ball.

Chester snuggled up behind him, wrapping an arm around him and tracing shapes on his stomach with his thumb. ‘Do you want to tell me exactly what happened? Or do you want to feel better?’

Jayden knew he deserved an explanation. "Depends. How quietly upset are you going to be if I don't tell you what happened? Because I don't mind either way."

‘I’m not going to be upset, love. I just want to make sure he didn’t do anything too bad. Like, y’know.’

Jayden nodded. "Okay." He paused. "He wrapped an arm around my waist and kissed me a lot." He admit quietly. He didn't mention the whole getting threatened thing.

Chester nodded, pulling him slightly closer. ‘What an a--hole,’ he mumbled. ‘I’m sorry, love.’

Jayden didn't say anything, sinking into him.

Chester held him close, kissing the back of his head. He didn’t know how else to comfort him.

"I'm sorry for not telling you about him when you asked." Jayd said quietly.

‘Don’t be sorry, love,’ Chester said softly. He pulled out his pocket watch and offered it to Jayden.

Jayden took it, winding the chain around the palm of his hand tightly.

Chester nestled his head against Jayden’s shoulder, holding him close.

Jayd eventually stopped pulling the chain, noticing the chain left those itty-bitty marks on his hands.

Chester took his hand and kissed the back of it.
