Jayden froze up. "What are you doing?" He asked weakly, trying to shuffle away from him.
"Is it so bad to want to talk to an old friend?" Benji asked in the most manipulative, condescending voice you can imagine. -

Benji kissed Jayden’s cheek before he could respond. ‘Or perhaps a boyfriend? Assuming you’ll dump Chester.’ -

Jayden yanked himself immediately, face burning- Oh my god are you blushing?!
"Why would I do that?" He asked, trying to sound confident. It just made him sound dumber. -
Benji smirked, wrapping an arm around his waist and pulling him closer. ‘Because I’m way better than that jerk.’ He brought his spare hand up and ran it through Jayden’s hair, gripping it slightly. ‘Things can go back to how they were before.’

Jayden tried to pull away, which just made Benji hold him tighter. "I don't want it to." He snapped. "Let go of me. Now."

Benji pressed a kiss on his forehead. ‘Aw, why not, darling? We were so good together, weren’t we?’ he said, talking like he would to a child.

"What about it was good?" Jayden would've kicked him away if he wasn't sitting and if Benji didn't have such a tight grip on his hair.

Benji tugged on his hair. ‘Everything, darling! You don’t think it was good?’ he asked, pouting.

"Get your hands off of my hair." Jayden demanded. "Maybe it was good for you."

Benji narrowed his eyes, grip on his hair tightening. ‘Jayden, that’s a little bit far, don’t you think, darling?’

"I'm the one going too far?" Jayden said in a half-laugh, trying to pull away.

Benji’s grip on him tightened. ‘C’mon, darling, we’ll both be happier when you dump that shapeshifting weirdo and come back to me.’

"Get off of me." Jayd snapped.

Benji’s smile turned to a glare. He pulled Jayden closer. ‘Don’t talk to me like that, Jayden.’

"Then let me go." Jayden used the same tone.
