Jayden blushed, nodding. "Okay." He smiled.

Chester pressed a kiss to his cheek, pulling him close. He wanted to shower Jayden with love. ‘Is it too early to say I love you?’

Very early. Jayden just plastered a smile and shrugged. He didn't hate it, far from it, he was just scared that it was happening so fast. If things start quickly, they usually end fast too.

Chester noticed the plastered smile. He kissed his forehead, but didn’t say anything. ‘Okay. Do you need any pyjamas or something? I might have some that are your size.’

Jayd nodded. "Yes please." He mumbled, feeling bad that he didn't say I love you back.

Chester gave a small smile. He stood up and opened his closet. ‘Are you okay?’ he asked, looking for some pyjamas.

Jayden hesitated before nodding. "Yeah."

‘Are you sure? You don’t seem like you are. You look nervous,’ Chester said quietly.

"I said I'm fine." Jayden said firmly.

Chester stayed quiet, sighing softly. He pulled out some pyjamas and gave them to Jayden. ‘Here, these should fit.’

Jayden took them. "Thank you." He paused, regretting snapping at him. "I didn't mean for that to come out so rudely, I'm sorry."

‘It’s okay, I shouldn’t have pried,’ Chester said with a weak smile.

Jayden paused, seeing how weak the smile was. He sighed. "I'm just.... Scared that it's going so fast." He mumbled.

Chester sat down in front of him, grabbing his hands. ‘Why?’

Jayd shrugged. "Because what if it's like a flame or something, where the faster it burns the quicker it dies?"
