Chester thought for a moment. ‘Jayden, I’m not going to let this die,’ he said quietly, rubbing his thumb over his knuckles. ‘I wouldn’t have kissed you if I didn’t like you. I wouldn’t have told you I loved you if I thought this was going to be some fling. I-I know it’s early, and love-bombing can be bad, but.. I want this to last.’

Jayd nodded, looking down. "I-I know, I just... I dunno, it's scary."

Chester gave a small smile. ‘I know. I-I get being scared, especially after a not-so-kind lover. Just tell me when I’m overstepping a boundary, and I won’t get upset, I promise.’

Jayden nodded, having a small grimace at the mention of Benji. "O-okay."

Chester kissed his nose. He pulled back and stood up, picking out some PJs for himself.

Jayd smiled, grabbing his pajamas, going into his bathroom, and changing in there.

Chester watched him with a small smile. He got changed into his own and chucked his dirty clothes in a basket for the servants to collect. He sat down on his bed and pulled out his diary from his nightstand.

Jayden got dressed and knocked on the door gently. "Can I come in now?"

‘Oh, yeah, sorry,’ Chester said, settling in bed.

"It's all good." Jayd smiled.

*Jayden smiled, walking in

Chester smiled and grabbed his pen.

Jayd laid down on his bed. "What're you doing?"

‘Just writing,’ Chester said. ‘This is my most recent diary.’

"Cool." Jayden smiled.
