Chester quickly shook his head. ‘No,’ he said. ‘I, er… do you want to go out with me?’ -

Jayden blushed, nodding. "Yeah." He paused. "Do you want people to know, or do you want it to stay our little secret?" -

Chester blushed. He looked down at their hands, rubbing Jayden’s with his thumb, exhaling softly. ‘Can we keep it a secret? Just for a bit? I-I just don’t want us to be the next scandal,’ he mumbled. ‘But, um, whatever you want.’ -
"Of course." Jayden nodded. "We can keep it a secret."

Chester pressed a kiss to his forehead. ‘Thank you,’ he said quietly.

Jayd blushed, smiling. "Don't mention it."

Chester smiled, holding his hands. He pressed a kiss to his knuckle. ‘So, uh, what now? Am I allowed to, like, kiss you and stuff? And like, hugging and stuff-‘

"You're already kissing me." Jayden pointed out with a chuckle. "Besides, we already hugged before. A lot. I believe you mentioned something about it..."

Chester blushed. ‘Ah, yes, right- F-Fair enough,’ he said, squeezing his hands slightly. ‘Er, it’s getting late..’

Jayd nodded. "Yeah." He paused. "May I sleep here again? You can say no, I don't want you to sleep on the floor again if you don't want to-"

‘No, you can stay,’ Chester said, pulling him slightly closer. ‘I just felt awkward. You kind of latched onto me, and I didn’t want to overstep boundaries by cuddling with you..’

Jayden froze. "Did I? God, I'm so sorry. I wasn't overstepping your boundaries or anything?"

‘No, don’t be sorry! It was cute. And you didn’t, I promise, I just didn’t know what to do,’ Chester said.

"But I put you in an uncomfortable position!" Jayd protested. "If I do that tonight and make you uncomfortable just wake me up or shove me off the bed or something."

‘I’m not shoving you off the bed,’ Chester said with a laugh, sitting down and pulling Jayden with him. ‘You can cuddle me all you want now, okay?’
