Jayd wanted to follow him, but opted against it. He sighed.

Chester walked to his room and sat on his bed, sighing.

Jayden buried his face in his hands. "He definitely heard us." He mumbled to Maeve.

Maeve sighed. ‘I don’t know,’ she said, looking down. ‘Either that or Oliver told him.’

"Great." Jayden grumbled. "Might as well tell him. He won't be surprised, after all."

Maeve looked down. ‘Sorry,’ she said quietly

"It's fine. You didn't know."

Maeve sighed. She finished off her food and disappeared.

Jayden stood up. He didn't know where else to go so he walked to Chester's room and knocked on the door. "It's me."

Chester looked up. ‘Come in.’

Jayd walked in. "Hey." He mumbled.

Chester looked down. ‘Hi,’ he said nervously. ‘What do you need?’

"Nothing, I guess. I'm just-" He sighed, frustrated with himself. "I don't know what exactly you heard from me and Maeve but I'm sorry."

Chester frowned. He had no idea what Maeve and Jayden had been talking about. ‘Why are you sorry?’

"Because, I was just.... I dunno, thinking out loud. But I said it WAY too loudly and then you were acting weird at dinner and-" Jayd sighed, cutting himself off.
