"So you'd rather hide in your room all day?"

'Yeah.'

Oliver sighed. "How about I tell him to meet in the library if he wants to talk to you, and have you wait there? That way you both want to talk about it." He paused. "Unless you'd rather be miserable and alone all day..."

'I'm fine with being miserable and alone,' Chester muttered, eating his food. 'But sure, fine.'

"Are you fine with it?" Oliver muttered, but dropped it. "I'll ask him later, then."

‘Cool,’ Chester sighed.

Oliver looked at him, very concerned about his friend.
(I'm online for like 5 minutes but I don't expect you to be on here so in case you're not byeeeee) -
(Byeeeeee!)
Chester ate in silent, avoiding Oliver’s gaze. -
Oliver eventually looked away. "Would you like me to leave you alone?"

‘Yes, please,’ Chester mumbled, looking down.

Oliver nodded, standing up and walking out.

Chester set his food on the bedside table and curled up in the blankets, burying his face in his hands.

Jayden was in the library, sitting down on the same couch where Benji kissed him. He was staring at the ground, wanting to talk to Chester and try to sort things out, but also guessing that Chester didn't want to talk to him.

Chester sighed and eventually picked himself up. He fixed his hair and clothing and walked down into the library, opening the doors slowly and seeing Jayden.

Jayden saw him and smiled weakly before looking away. He had another copy of the newspaper in his hand.
