Chester mewled softly and did the cute sneezing thing. He climbed into Jayden's lap and snuggled against him, almost apologizing. -
Jayden chuckled. He paused. "I'm sorry I don't trust you." He mumbled. "You don't deserve that."

Chester mewled in response, snuggling close.

Jayd scratched his ear. "I wish I knew what you were saying." He chuckled.

Chester mewled and morphed back into a human, head still resting in his lap. 'I said you shouldn't be the one apologizing.'

"You already did." Jayden pointed out.

'But you did nothing wrong.'

"I treated our conversation like an interview, Chester. I believed the news over my own boyfriend."

'I kissed my ex girlfriend then lied to you about it. I wouldn't trust me either.'

Jayden played with Chester's hair. He wanted to forget that this all ever happened, but knew that might not be possible. "What do you want to do about this?" He asked quietly.

Chester sighed, looking down. ‘I don’t know,’ he said quietly.

Jayd looked down. "Okay." He mumbled.

‘We could get Beatrice to leave?’ Chester asked softly, looking up at him. ‘Then I could take you out somewhere fancy?’

"Beatrice leaving would be great." Jayden nodded immediately. "And as long as you don't mind being this tense..."

‘Maybe we could talk about it, then? O-Or… um… I could tell you exactly what happened? Or we can just.. hang out?’ Chester asked, trying to find things that would make this better.
