"Told you-now way you can steal" Jason smirked.
"Try me" Holli retorted taking the phone of Jason and placing it in his back pocket.
"Alright" Jason replied and started the boring conversation about the weather again. Holli purposely dropped her own mobile (It was ancient with no WiFi because her Mother was so strict) kneeled down too pick it up before taking the phone out of Jason's pocket. He whipped round, annoyed. "Beginner's luck" he snapped. Holli answered with a roll of her eyes.
"Let me try again then" -
She managed to whip it out of his pocket again, but he noticed her hand and grabbed her wrist.
'Hmph,' Holli muttered, putting her own phone back in her pocket.
(Sorry it was short, I have to go) -
(All good ๐)
William glared at his older brother. "Alright leave her alone it's only her second attempt" he growled noticing the red mark on Holli's wrist.
Holli smiled gratefully at him though stopped when she saw Jason's glare. What had happened too him? He seemed fine with her and Williams relationship but then acted like it was the end of the world whenever they had alone time. She sighed. "Again?" -
Jason glared but nodded, put his phone in his pocket. This time, Holli whacked him in the face.
'Oi!' he shouted. 'What was that for?'
Holli held up his phone.
'How did-' he stuttered, reaching into his pocket. All he pulled out was lint. 'God..' he mumbled, staring at her. William grinned.
'Third time's the charm!' Holli said, thrusting it back at him. Jason caught it and huffed, then put it back in his pocket.
'You can't just go around slapping everyone you wanna steal from, you know,' he grumbled.
'I know,' Holli said, folding her arms. 'There was just something about you that made me want to hit you. And it worked, didn't it?'
William chewed his bottom lip, hoping this wouldn't result in more arguing. Jason looked like he could punch Holli then and there, but he didn't. -
After several more accomplished attempts with barely any fails they decided too set off for the city. "Come on then" Holli called at the two boys who were trailing behind.
"Bossy cow" Jason muttered.
William gave his brother a dry look. "Nah she just doesn't want too starve"
"Alright-but fancy her slapping me! I'd slap her back but boys aren't allowed too hit girls" Jason grumped.
"SEXIST!" Holli shouted and Jason sighed unaware that Holli could hear the conversation.
"Alright then! I'll hit you if you think it's so sexist" Jason challenged. "You up for it?"
"Bring it on" Holli smirked.
"No don't J hits hard, he don't play fair" William warned worried
"Don't worry about me" Holli smiled touching Williams shoulder. "I'll be fine"
Williams face was agitated. "She'll be fine Willy" Jason laughed. -
'A playful fight can't hurt,' Jason added, smirking.
William tried to stop them, but decided against it and sat back on a rock.
Jason made to slap Holli, but she ducked and punched him in the stomach. The pain was worse with the nagging hunger. Jason leaned forward, groaning with pain.
'Are you OK?' Holli asked worriedly. She hadn't known she could punch so hard. Jason stood up straight at lightning speed and before Holli could comprehend what was happening, he punched her in the face.
Holli felt a pain in her nose, and it began to bleed. Holli swore and wiped the blood away with her sleeve. Jason lunged forward and punched her in the stomach, making her fall on her back.
Holli swore again. Jason spat near her feet.
'J, come on,' William groaned, rushing to her side. He helped Holli into a sitting position, his hand on her back.
'She started it,' Jason said, rolling his eyes.
'You should've ended it!' William shouted. 'You're older, you shouldn't have punched her!'
'I don't need you telling me how to be mature,' Jason hissed. -
Holli groaned hands clutching her stomach. She thought she was tough. Then again, Jason was 15 and she was 12. Or was she?
"What day is it?" She asked. William snatched his older brothers phone and read the date. "Fourteenth of May" he replied. "Why?"
Holli smiled sadly. "It was my birthday on the 12th. I'm thirteen now!"
"Happy birthday!" William cried throwing his arms carefully round Holli's neck.
"You should of told me, I would of got you something"
"I wouldn't" Jason muttered.
"Shut up moody" William said lightly punching him in the shoulder. He didn't want too start another fight. -
Jason muttered a whole bunch of curse words under his breath. Holli stared at him, then looked away.
William and Holli stood up and they started walking to the city. It was long, and they couldn't take the path they'd taken before because Sebastian could get hold of them again. They walked and walked, and eventually it was Holli and Jason trailing behind.
'Sorry about earlier,' Holli said to him, keeping her eyes on the ground. She held her sleeve to her nose, wiping the remaining blood away. -
Jason said nothing for a few moments then said. "I'm sorry too I guess. Your pretty tough, for a girl"
Holli glared at him but smiled. "Thanks"
William stopped abruptly and ushered the other two behind a group of trees.
"Be quiet and don't move" he whispered. Jason peered over the top of the tree.
"Blooming heck!" He whispered. "What the hell is Charlie doing there with no Sebastian and who the hell is that woman with him?" Jason asked in a low voice.
"How am I supposed to know?" Snapped William.
Jason shrugged but Holli just watched hopelessly at the woman in front of her. Her face expression changed. Angry. Sad. Happy. Annoyed. Angry. It stayed there.
"You alright Holli?" William checked.
Holli looked at him dazed and shook her head. "We have too leave now!" -
(Sorry gtg for half an hour, I'll be back soon to write my paragraph)

'Holli,' William muttered to her in a serious tone. 'Who is that woman.'
'F--k it,' Holli whispered, 'She's my mum.'
Jason nearly choked on his own tongue, making a coughing sound. William stared at her then at the woman, who looked worried and scares.
'We'll find her soon, miss,' Charlie said with a charming smile. 'I saw your daughter out here somewhere, she can't have gone far.'
'Thank you... Charlie, was it? Holli had been acting so strange. She got all angry at me for going through her stuff, when I locked her in her room she looked so upset...' Holli's mother paused. 'I know it sounds like I'm a terrible mum, but 12-year-olds have no right to privacy.'
'Absolutely not,' Charlie said.
William looked like he would murder both of them right then and there. -
Holli glared in the direction of her mum, her face going red in anger. She gripped William's wrist and dragged him further too the right. Jason quickly followed them. "What are you doing?" He hissed.
"Getting away" Holli raised an eyebrow. "Isn't it obvious?"
Jason rolled his eyes. "She's your Mum, don't you wanna see her?"
"I never want too see that Woman again in my life" Holli consulted.
"Why?" Jason nosed.
"Because she's made my life a misery for about seven years!"
William slipped his hand into Holli's and felt empathy for her. He didn't have a great relationship with his Dad either. Neither did Jason. Charlie was his favourite. -
'Pfft,' Jason muttered.
'Did you not hear a word she just said?' Holli snapped at him, whipping around to face him. Jason flinched at her tone, and then sighed.
'I heard, and I will admit it was pretty bad,' he said, just to make sure they didn't have another fight. Holli squinted her eyes at him but didn't say anything more. She kept walking, with William and Jason struggling to keep up.
'How do you have the energy to go so fast?' William asked finally, when they were well away from Holli's mum and Charlie. Holli shrugged and came to a stop. Her legs ached and her heart was thumping painfully in her chest. -
They didn't say anything for a while until Holli spoke. "What are we gonna do now?"
Jason shrugged but William opened his mouth too speak, then closed it again.
"Seriously?" Holli asked. "Not only do we have Sebastian on the loose but Charlie and my Mum!"
William gave Holli a hug which finally gave her the strength too tell him how she was feeling.
"I'm kind of relieved that my Mum is safe, but if Charlie is with her, what has happened too my half-siblings and step-dad?"
William sighed sitting down, the other two copying him. "Let's not worry about it, we'll get some sleep" he suggested.
"Alright" Holli agreed softly closing her eyes. She didn't even offer to go on first watch this time. Jason went too wake her but William gave him a glare.
