So me and my boyfriend planned to go to this comedy play tonight, we scheduled for it a couple weeks ago, paid for the tickets ahead of time and stuff. I asked him to make sure he got the day off work...
he forgot to get the day off work so this week he had to find someone to switch days with him. He did that. And we were planning on going out to eat, then going to the play.
This morning he called me and said he was gonna go ice fishing with his friend, and theyd be done around 7, and asked if thats an ok time to go to the play to get there on time. yeah ok.. we'd probably get there right on time if we left exactly at 7. But just earlier that morning my dad asked if I wanted to come eat with my grandma at a nice restaurant for dinner, and I had to say no since I was gonna be with matt..
I ended up going out to eat with them since he wouldnt be back in time, he texted me asking if I could pick him up at an exit at 7, but it wasnt on the way there, itd be 15 minutes out of the way and 15 minutes back to the way. an extra half hour late...
I told him that wouldnt work, and 7 was the very latest we'd have to go by. I asked him at 6:45 if he was gonna be back in time.. he said "Ill let you know we are packing up im guessing it will be 7:10" so I said "I'm leaving at 7. You might as well stay at the ice place then" Yknow... it was foggy and s--- too, 7:10 we'd for sure be late, and itd probably end up being later than that.
He called me at 7:07, I was already on my way with a different friend, I picked her up at 7, the time I was supposed to pick him up by. He wasnt back yet anyways.
he sounded dissappointed, and I should feel bad, but its his fault, his money, and I had fun. It was nice to be able to spend time with my friend that I dont get to see much anymore, she's going back off to college soon a few states away. So sucks for Matt. -
thats long :P no one has to read this, I'm just getting it out. the more I think about it and read over the texts and shiz, the more I'm like ya I did that right. The dude's a f---in dumb---

It was kind of his fault. I mean, he's the one that wanted to go ice fishing that day. He could have chose a different day to do that if he really wanted to go. Or he could have packed up at 5 so you guys would have time.
