I just got X yesturday and I love it! I like how you can pick what your character looks like, though I wish their were more options. I also LOVE how they have first generation pokemon in there, instead of all the new ones that I've never heard of.

It's fine, but somewhat repetitive in my opinion. You battle Lysander so many times it's a drag. You shouldn't have to beat a grown man three times to prove he can't win against you. Also, the customization feature is fine, but it has many flaws. For one, why can't we take off our hat? Two, can't we have more of a variety? Most of the clothing are just the same thing, colored differently. Also, different hairstyles would be nice, along with different dyes and exclusive event hats and clothing. The 3D battles are fun, but the new generation of pokemon have many design flaws due to in originality and lack of creativity and effort. In my opinion, pokemon lost their "creativity" ever since diamond and pearl/platinum. Heck, pokemon hacks are made better games than game freak, as sad as it is to admit. Also, it really annoys me that the game builds your team for you. Your givin a lapras, lucario, a 1st gen starter, a 6gen starter, a torchic, and a legendary. That's 6 slots total, which fills up your entire party, ruining the slogan "gotta catch em' all" what's the point? Team flares motive is like team galactics, but more simple. Everyone sucks, so they should stop.

Honestly, in all, game freak could have done a lot better in x and y, but it's a fun game in all still, if you want to ignore these little flaws. -
Yeah, I really hated the fact that they pretty much gave you your team. Besides the starter and legendary, none of the others were necessary.
