I think it is.
This week has been so amazing,
but also hard work.
Cheerleading isn't just girls yelling and cheering for a team,
Cheerleading consists of tumbling, jumps, sharpness, a smile, and personality. -
The day I consider cheerleading a sport is the day I become a prostitute
which is never.
It's nice that you think it's a sport, but personally I don't think so. -
Thanks for saying your opinion Ting.
This is just opinions, there's no fact that 'cheerleading is a sport' or 'cheerleading isn't one' -
If chess is considered a sport than Cheerleading is a sport
In my opinion Cheerleading is a sports because just like any other sport it requires physical ability and you need to be fit and exercise to. -
Sure, cheerleading is a sport. Just like pole dancing.
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude. Just what I believe. .3. -
They have cheerleading competitions in high school, and some colleges will even give you scholarships for cheerleading. I'd say it's legit.
-
I say it is a sport, just a really annoying one. Just my opinion.
-
Carrotop NewbieIts a sport. It requires physical activity. As in all sports, cheerleading to has championships. This is in my opinion.
-
._. Cheerleading. The only thing sporty about it is that you sport your assets.
-
Just because it requires "a smile and personality" doesn't mean everyone that does it actually has one. :P
Cheerleading is just a bunch of sluts jumping up and down with pom-poms. Pretty much a sluty and pathetic mock of gymnastics. xP -
No.
-
with some of the reasons given, it means that Drawing can also be a sport (in which, I know its not.) :P
it requires physical effort (wrist movement, and you can go on disability for it too Dx)
There are contests for it (kinda like championships? :P)
Drawing is also hardwork and requires skill just like everything else.
....LOLOLOLOLOLOL I don't know what the f--- I just did, but I think I just mocked myself. -
I think so, yeah. I did cheerleading back in Tennessee, and in no way was it "sluty". It was basically a combination of gymnastics and dance plus pom poms. And we didn't even use the pom poms half the time. It also required long hours of hard work, and most of the time I went home sweaty and achy.
Not only that, it promotes confidence. -
Actually, it is a sport because it is proven to be the most dangerous sport in the world. More people die from cheerleading accidents than in football.

so and so
