‘Thank you.’ Caleb walked over to the fridge and opened it. -
Richard followed like a lost puppy.

Caleb glanced at him and chuckled. He pulled out some leftovers.

Richard smiled. There was enough for both of them.

Caleb ruffled his hair. It was two cinnamon rolls.

Richard looked down at the cinnamon rolls, smile fading slightly before he caught himself and grinned again.

Caleb looked at him. ‘You okay to have it cold, or do you want me to heat it up?’

"I-I can have it cold."

Caleb frowned at his stutter. ‘Alright.’ He grabbed out two plates and put each roll on them.

Richard took a small bite out of it.

Caleb did too, walking back to the dining table.

Richard followed.

Caleb sat down, eating his cinnamon roll.

Richard ate a bit as well, avoiding the frosting.

Caleb glanced at him, frowning.
