There was still all the silverware on both of their spots, but no food. Richard looked up at Caleb. "Let's go see if they have leftovers."

‘Sounds good.’

Richard walked over to the kitchen door.

Caleb followed.

Richard grinned.

Caleb booped his nose.

Richard blushed. He opened the kitchen door for him.

Caleb walked inside. ‘Hello, John.’
John was the head cook. He was around the age of 40, and his hair was brown but whitening because people did not live long back then. -
Oop- Richard gave a small wave as he walked in.

John looked over. ‘Hello, your majesty,’ he bowed. ‘And your highness. What can I do for you?’
‘Do you have any leftovers from breakfast?’ -
John nodded, pointing at a small fridge.
