LUCAS HI
Name: Caleb Smith
Gender & Pronouns: Male, he/him
Sexuality: Geh
Appearance: Unmaintained brown hair which his long enough to be partially tied in a ponytail, green eyes, pale skin (from being inside too long), about medium height. He looks like a mess when he’s not at formal events
Personality: Extremely overworked. He tends to shut people out because his work is too important and in the process is accidentally rude to most people. He’s pretty friendly most of the time but overthinks everything
Mental disorders/possible physical ones: ADHD, but he’s used to masking it
Other: ✨his family is dead✨ -
This is basically what he looks like:

Name: Richard Whitlock
Gender & Pronouns: cis guy, he/him
Sexuality: Bisexual- don't tell a soul
Appearance: Black fluffy hair that he always tried to make look classy and professional, but a piece of it always ends up poking out 10 minutes after he did it. Loves velvet clothes, but doesn't wear them too often, usually it's just a suit.
Personality: Has different versions of himself depending on who he's around. When it's his dad, castle workers, people from other kingdoms (with exceptions) and people from his own, he's polite and very, very bland. When it's reporters, he's dead silent, and when it's people he's friends with, he's loud and obnoxious. He's trying to figure out who he is before he gets coronated and his whole kingdom decides. Once he's started something, he HAS to finish it. Can be very possessive and bossy.
Mental disorders: Orthoexia (a type of eating disorder) OCD, discalcula, anxiety, and possible ADHD
Other: Drinks way too much coffee. Is constantly trying to be more independent and separated from his overprotective and overbearing father. -

Richard was sitting in the carriage next to his father, Victor. They were getting close to their destination, and Victor was giving him a lecture on what to do and what to not do no matter what ever don't even try it. It was pretty much the same as usual: don't go where you're unwanted, be quiet and polite, don't talk to much, don't wander around, don't bother anyone, and don't say anything you're not supposed to, among other things. Richard was trying hard not to zone out in case he missed something important. He doubted he would, but better safe than sorry. -
Caleb was sat in his office, working. His handwriting was messy as he signed off documents, wrote letters to nobles, etcetera. There was a knock at the door. 'What now?!' Caleb demanded as the door opened, revealing his butler. 'Can't you see I'm busy?!'
The butler bowed to him. 'King Victor and his son are on their way to their palace, your majesty. You should meet them outside.'
Caleb rubbed his face with his hands, groaning. 'I forgot they were coming- Alright, I'll be there in a minute.' The butler left. He stood up and cleaned himself up. He was wearing his glasses and his hair was half-up. He walked down the hall to the entrance of the castle. -
The carriage eventually stopped at the castle. "Finally. My legs almost died." Richard complained. His father elbowed him. "Thanks for the ride." Richard said right after, giving his dad a 'there, is that better?' look, only to earn an eyeroll.
He got off the carriage and saw Caleb. He didn't see much of a noble 'oh my god it's him' type presence in him. He saw an overworked kid. He supposed they weren't too different in that regard. He bowed. "Good afternoon, sir." He said, though calling someone who didn't seem much older than himself sir felt odd. -
'Good afternoon,' Caleb said, fixing his hair. He watched Richard for a moment, then turned his gaze to the king. 'So you must be King Victor?' he said, bowing respectfully to the older man.
-
Victor nodded, giving Caleb a small bow. "Indeed."
Richard watched the two of them, keeping quiet.
