“Yeah, it’s mainly with longer-haired cats and if I cuddle with them,” Evan said, shrugging.

“Gotcha, gotcha,” Connor replied, nodding. He glanced over to see a cat walk over, rubbing its head against his leg. He hummed softly and reached over, petting it as he curled closer to Evan’s side.

“You’re kinda cute, y’know,” Evan muttered, smiling softly.

Connor flushed bright red, a lovesick grin on his face. “You’re cuter,” he said with a chuckle, kissing Evan’s cheek.

Evan flushed bed red, covering his face with his hands. “Shut up-“

“You are, really~” Connor said with a smile, hugging Evan closer and kissing his cheek.

“Okay, leave my cheek alone!” Evan said with a chuckle, putting a hand up.

“What, would you rather I kiss your lips~?” Connor said with a smirk, chuckling softly.

Evan blushed, scoffing. “Well- yeah, kinda, but-“

“But what?” Connor asked softly, rubbing Evan’s back with his hand.

“I- I dunno, I’m just- a little overwhelmed right now- heightened senses and all-“ Evan said, shrugging a little.

“Oh- No, yeah, that’s fair-“ Connor replied as he pulled away a little, nodding. “Sorry, I- I’m obviously not trying to overwhelm you on purpose.”

“No! It’s all good, I don’t mind too much, you just keep surprising me with those kisses,” Evan said with an awkward chuckle.

“Sorry-“ Connor said, chuckling softly. “Would it be better if I like, asked you beforehand if I can kiss you or something so that you know?”

“Yeah, it would, actually,” Evan nodded. “But just until I get my sight back, then I’ll be fine.”
