"Are you sure?" Connor asked gently, concern in his voice.
-
“Yeah, I’m perfectly fine,” Evan said angrily, turning his chair to face his desk and turn his back to Connor.
-
"I just want to make sure you're okay, Evan," Connor spoke, standing and moving over to Evan. "I-I get if you wouldn't want to talk to me about it because I keep secrets, but- I just want to help you, honest."
-
“I just- I can’t eat, I can’t,” Evan whispered, rubbing his face to try and hide it as he heard Connor come over.
-
"Like, "you're not hungry" can't eat, or "your mind won't let you" can't eat, or?" Connor asked gently, crouching beside Evan in the chair.
-
“Both, I think,” Evan said softly, his voice muffled by his hands.
-
"Hey, look-" Connor paused, chuckling softly. "Don't feel bad, okay?" He spoke gently, lifting his hands and gently grabbing Evan's. He pulled them away from his face, gently squeezing them in his hands. "It's not your fault, you didn't do anything wrong, okay?"
-
(chuckling softly as he had forgotten about Evan's lack of sight.**)
-
Evan nodded trying not to think about Connor’s hands. “Okay.”
-
"Do you wanna talk about it more?" Connor asked gently, rubbing the back of Evan's hands with his thumbs for a moment before letting go of them.
-
“I don’t know what else to talk about,” Evan said quietly, leaning his head back.
-
"Well, it's either that, or how you're madly in love with me~" Connor teased, chuckling softly as he stood up and leaned against the desk.
-
Evan flushed bright red, covering his face again. “Ugh, two bad options-“
-
Connor chuckled softly, watching Evan with a smile. "Well, which would you prefer?" He asked, chuckling softly.
-
“The second one,” Evan said softly, wringing his hands together.
