“Fine! My God-“ Evan said, holding up his hands in innocence.

Connor exhaled shakily, hugging his legs to his chest. “Thank you,” he murmured, trying to stop his hands from shaking.

Evan scoffed, leaning back against the wall.

Connor watched Evan for a moment, sighing softly.
