“Heyy, that was pretty cool,” Evan said with a smile, crossing his arms as he watched his boyfriend. -
“Why, thank you~” Connor said with a chuckle, rolling back over to Evan and doing a kickflip half way. “You wanna try? Get on the board some?”

“Uhh, I’d probably land on my ass one too many times,” Evan chuckled. “I’ll leave it to you.”

“You sure? I don’t wanna bore you and just, like, let you watch me or something-“

“No, I don’t mind watching,” Evan shrugged. “I mean- I’m glad I can even see it- but if you want me to try I can.”

“No, you don’t have to if you don’t want to,” Connor said, rolling forward again. He did a small flip on the board, humming softly. “I used to be able to do some really cool tricks, but the prosthetics make it kinda hard.”

“Ohh, yeah, that’s fair,” Evan nodded, looking down at the board. “Could you technically still do them with the prosthetics?”

“Probably- I’ve tried to do them before, but it was kind of painful,” Connor said, running a hand through his hair.

“Ohh, okay, gotcha,” Evan said, nodding. “Could I try, just like, riding down the way on the board?”

“Sure, yeah~” Connor said with a smile, moving over to Evan and stepping off the board.

“Wait- do I just- like, put one foot on the board and push with the other, right?” Evan said, narrowing his eyes.

“Yeah, you want your left foot in front and your right foot in the back, and you push with your right foot,” Connor replied, nodding.

“Oh, okay, cool,” Evan said, focusing on his feet for a moment and carefully placing his left one on the board. “And push with my right?”

“Mhm,” Connor hummed in response, moving back a little.

“Why are you moving away?” Evan said, furrowing his brows and chuckling nervously.
