Casimir smiled slightly. He gently rubbed their stomach with his thumb.

Georgie shivered under their touch and smiled a little, relaxing more in Casimir’s arms. She yawned softly, hugging the sheets tighter around her body.

Casimir smiled. ‘Go to sleep, my love. I’ll be here when you wake up.’

Georgie nodded and let out another tired yawn, their anxious thoughts consuming their mind and wearing them out they they soon fell asleep.

Casimir smiled softly as Georgie fell asleep. He held them close.

Georgie was still asleep in Casimir’s arms, now rolled over to face his boyfriend and hug onto him. -
Casimir hadn’t fallen asleep. He was zoned out, rubbing his thumb against Georgie’s back.

Georgie groaned softly in their sleep, rolling over in Casimir’s arms. Their eyes squeezed tighter and they clung tightly to the sheets, curling into a ball.

Casimir frowned slightly, snapping out of his thoughts. He held them close.

Georgie’s breathing began to grow erratic and they hyperventilated in their sleep, their hands gripping onto their hair. They muttered softly, a panicked tone in their voice as their nightmares worsened.

Casimir gently ran his fingers through their hair, prying their hands off it. ‘Baby?’ he asked softly, gently shaking them away. ‘Love?’

Georgie woke up with a start, gasping and sitting up quickly. He panted heavily and clutched his shirt in his hands, silent tears rolling down his face.

Casimir wiped their tears with his thumb, holding them tightly. ‘Are you okay?’

Georgie exhaled shakily, nodding a little as they hugged onto Casimir. “Y-Yeah, I- I’m alright,” they mumbled, rubbing their teary eyes. “Just a bad dream…”
