“I will~” Nick said with a giggle, pulling into his driveway.

Karl smiled happily, giggling tiredly. He yawned as he unbuckled and climbed out of the car, stretching a little. “Mm, I’m exhausted,” he murmured, giggling softly.

“Get your ass in bed, then,” Nick said with a chuckle, stepping up and heading towards the door with his bag.

“Are you also gonna go to bed?” Karl asked, yawning softly as he followed Nick inside.

“Uh, yeah, after I shower,” Nick said with a chuckle, unlocking the front door. “I’m ridden with sickness-“

“Mm, can we cuddle later~?” Karl asked sleepily, yawning softly as he slipped his shoes off.

“Uh, maybe not,” Nick said awkwardly. “I don’t wanna hurt your knee or anything.”

“Oh- Okay, I- I guess that’s true,” Karl spoke softly, sighing a little.

“Yeah,” Nicks said softly, heading towards his room. “I’ll see you in the morning!”

“See you,” Karl spoke with a small smile, still a little disappointed he wasn’t going to get any cuddles. He yawned and walked over to his room, going to change and get ready for bed.

Karl hummed softly as he sat down on the couch, turning on the TV, He didn’t end up getting as much sleep as he would have liked, his thoughts consumed with confusion over whether or not he was hallucinating the fact that he kissed Nick then asked him out. But many worries filled his head, wondering how his dad was doing. He moved to lay down on his side, hugging onto a nearby pillow as he tried to ignore the worried thoughts. -
Nick yawned as he padded out from his room, groaning quietly and waving at Karl as he moved into the kitchen.
