“Yeah- There’s this one in the big tank, her name is Lucy, and she’s like, the oldest turtle there! She’s seriously so cool-“ Karl said, giggling softly as he moved over to Nick’s side. He was tempted to grab his hand but didn’t want to seem clingy, keeping his hands at his sides.

“Oh stop, that’s so cute,” Nick said with a chuckle as they started towards the aquarium.

“There’s also penguins- f---ing penguins! I love penguins so much~” Karl said with a giggle, smiling as they headed to the entrance to pay for their entry passes.

Nick giggled quietly, nodding. “Penguins are cool, I can agree with that.”

Karl smiled and nodded, walking up to the booth. He bought two passes and Karl grabbed Nick’s hand, leading him in more.

Nick smiled a little, glancing down at their hands. “Where are we going first?”

“We could go check out the turtles- Or maybe the sharks, that’d be fun,” Karl said with a smile, looking over at Nick. He glanced down at their hands, panicking for a moment. “Sorry, I- I didn’t mean to grab your hand like that~” He said with a nervous chuckle, going to let go of Nick’s hand.

“It’s okay,” Nick shrugged, gently squeezing their hands. “But let’s head to those turtles-“

Karl blushed and smiled, nodding as he headed in the direction of the turtles. “It’s been a while since I’ve come, hopefully I won’t get all mixed up,” he said, giggling softly as he rubbed the back of Nick’s hand with his thumb.

“There’s gotta be a map here somewhere,” Nick said, glancing around.

Karl looked around for a moment, spotting a little stand with maps. He walked over and grabbed one, opening it with his free hand. “Here we go~”

“s---, this place is huge,” Nick said with a giggle. “So… the turtles are over there-“ He said, pointing to his right.

“Mhm- You wanna head there, first?” Karl asked with a smile, looking over at Nick.

“Hell yeah,” Nick said with a smile starting towards there.

Karl smiled and giggled softly, gently squeezing Nick’s hand as he followed him. His knee was starting to radiate a dull aching pain, but it wasn’t terrible so he just ignored it. It was normal for there to be a little pain, that’s what Nick said.
