“Shut the f--- up- there’s an aquarium?” Nick asked, grinning and glancing iver

“Yeah, it’s so cool,” Karl said with a smile, absentmindedly leaning against Nick’s side. “They have touch tanks with little baby sharks and they do like, shows with scuba divers- It’s awesome~”

“Okay, I wanna go there,” Nick said with a giggle, smiling a little.

“Yeah, it’ll be fun~” Karl said with a smile, taking another bite of his cereal. He glanced over and quickly sat up, realizing he was leaning on Nick. “Sorry-“

“All good,” Nick said with a shrug, taking another bite of his cereal.

Karl forced himself to take another bite of his food, exhaling softly. He zoned out again, staring blankly at the TV.

maybe we could go to the date? they go to the aquarium?) -
(uhh, sure!)
Nick parked the car, glancing out the window at the aquarium. “I don’t know how I haven’t seen this-“ -
“It looks cool though, doesn’t it?” Karl said, smiling. “Definitely looks like it’s busy today-“

“It’ll still be fun, though,” Nick said with a smile, unbuckling and turning the car off. “Are you sure your leg’ll be fine?”

(we doin like, karl’s leg is kinda better and he’s off crutches, or he’s still on crutches or smth?)
“Yeah, I’m sure I’ll be fine~” Karl replied with a smile, unbuckling. -
(uhh i think he’d still be on crutches but idk lol)
“Alright- I’m also pretty sure places like this offer wheelchairs or something, or you can rent them while you’re here,” Nick shrugged, opening the door and climbing out. “So if you want one-“ -
(ngl kinda wanna do like, it’s been a few weeks or so and he’s off and he just has to wear a brace now, and he kinda just tried to push thru the pain or smth bc he wants the date to go well- >:))
“Mm, maybe- But, I think I’ll be okay,” Karl spoke as he opened the car door, getting out. He stretched a little, humming softly. “I can’t wait to see the sea turtles~” -
(ooo okay yuhh)
“Wait shut the f--- up,” Nick said with a grin, walking around to Karl. “There are sea turtles??”
