“That might be a better option, just in case,” Karl said, giggling softly.

“Okay, I’ll be back,” Nick said with a chuckle, putting his bowl down on a dresser and heading back into the kitchen. He grabbed a fork, quickly coming back and handing it to Karl.

“Thank you~” Karl said with a smile, taking the fork. He stared at the bowl for a moment before forcing himself to take a bite, his hand shaking a little.

“You also don’t have to finish this, just have a little bit,” Nick said softly. “I’ll eat whatever you don’t want to-“

Karl nodded, forcing himself to eat another bite. He exhaled shakily, staring at the bowl for a moment.

“So, uh,” Nick paused, chewing for a second. “What do you do for fun?”

“Uhm, not much- I mostly just work,” Karl spoke softly, forcing himself to eat another bite of ramen. “I like playing video games, though.”

“Oo? What kind?” Nick asked, leaning against the door.

“I play a lot of Minecraft, Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.I like those more chill games,” Karl said with a small smile, setting his bowl in his lap.

“I can see that,” Nick said with a nod, taking another bite of his ramen.

“I’m also just like, trash at shooting games, so I don’t play them often,” Karl said, giggling softly.

“Mm, fair,” Nick said with a chuckle. “I like shooter games, I’m actually pretty good at them, not gonna lie~”

“Ooh, look at you, mister gamer~” Karl teased, giggling softly. “What all games do you play?”

“Uh, I like gallant, GTA, Call of Duty, that kind of stuff.” Nick said with a shrug, finishing off his ramen.

“Nice,” Karl said with a small smile, nodding.
