“By the way- Do our houses have the same layouts? I’ve been so curious,” Nick asked, glancing around.

“Kind of, yeah, which is really strange-“ Karl said, chuckling softly.

“Why? Because this feels like your house but it’s not?” Nick said with a chuckle, leaning against the doorway.

Karl nodded, giggling softly. “Definitely a little weird- But hey, at least I’m out of my own house for a little bit,” he said with a quiet chuckle, crossing his arms.

“That’s fair,” Nick said with a chuckle. “Are you hungry?”

“I mean, not really, but I should probably eat something,” Karl said with a quiet chuckle, running a hand through his hair.

“Ohh, yeah,” Nick said with a nod. “Hey- do you want me to set up set meal times and tell you ahead of time what they’re gonna be so you can like, mentally prepare?”

“Yeah, that- that’d be great, actually,” Karl spoke with a small smile, nodding. “The uhm, the psychologist mentioned something about that, as well.”

“Yeah, she probably did,” Nick said with a nod. “I’ll figure something out and let you know, okay? Also- all I have right now is like, microwave ramen.”

“Pfft- Sounds great,” Karl said with a smile, giggling softly.

“‘Kay, I’ll go make some,” Nick said with a chuckle, waking out of the room and into the kitchen.

Karl smiled and nodded, laying back in the bed. He exhaled softly as he pulled out his phone, scrolling through his socials.

Nick came back after a while, two bowls in hand. He handed one to Karl and the chopsticks he was awkwardly holding. “You know how to use those, right?”

“Kind of?” Karl replied with a giggle, setting his phone down before taking the bowl.

“I’ve got forks if you need them,” Nick said with a chuckle, taking a bite of his ramen.
