“What uhm, what about you? What shows do you like?” Karl asked softly, glancing over at Nick again.

“Uhh, I like murder mystery shows a lot,” Nick said with a shrug, glancing back over.

Karl nodded, glancing back at the TV. “Ooh, y’know what else I like? I like period piece shows- I think that’s what they’re called-“ He added, chuckling softly.

“Huh? I’ve never heard of those-“ Nick said, furrowing his brows and glancing at Karl.

“Like- I think Bridgerton is a period piece?” Karl said, running a hand through his hair. “I’m a big fan of Bridgerton, and other shows like that~”

“Ohhh-“ Nick nodded. “Gotcha, that makes more sense. I thought you were talking about like, girls periods and I got so confused-“

“PFFT-“ Karl laughed, subconsciously leaning against Nick’s side a little. “No, no, shows like Queen Elizabeth ‘n stuff,” he said with a giggle, realizing how close he’d gotten and moving away quickly.

“Okay, yeah, so like, renaissance period instead,” Nick said with a chuckle. “Gotcha, gotcha.”

“Yeah, I just don’t know what it’s called,” Karl said, giggling softly.

“Yeah, fair,” Nick said with a chuckle, leaning back into the couch.

Karl hummed softly as he watched the show, running a hand through his hair.

“Are you dating anybody?” Nick asked, glancing over at Karl.

Karl flushed red, looking over at Nick. “N-No, I’m- I’m single,” he replied quietly.

“Okay, cool,” Nick shrugged, glancing back at the TV. “Same.”

Karl nodded, turning back to the TV. “Cool,” he spoke softly, as,all smile on his face.
(not me having a heart attack bc my mom called me upstairs- i thought i was in trouble :’) xD
she was just called me up to talk abt my birthday plans lol)
