‘Sure thing,’ Mason said, taking out his keys.

Chris exhaled softly, gently squeezing Mason’s hand for a moment before leaving the soccer field and out to the parking lot.

Mason followed him, feeling bad about not being able to have him over. He opened the passengers seat for Chris.

Chris thank him and got into the car, buckling up.

Mason did the same. He started the car.

Chris crossed his legs in the seat, exhaling softly. “Mm, I’m deffo gonna need a nap when I get home-“

Mason chuckled. ‘Fair enough.’

“It was a good game, though~”

‘It was. You did great.’

“Thanks~” Chris said with a smile, offering his hand to Mason.

Mason gave a small smile and took his hand.

“Sorry our plans got kind of derailed,” Chris said, sighing softly.

'It's okay. Not your fault,' Mason said with a weak smile.

“I just wish your parents would be less strict with you…”

‘Me too. But it is what it is.’
