“I know, I do too,” Evan said with a giggle. “I mean, we can try- if I get fired though, it’s your fault!”

“I know, I know, I’ll never hear the end of it,” Connor said with a chuckle, rubbing the back of Evan’s hand with his thumb. “I took a look around the whole section of the lake on my side of the rope, and there’s this one little spot that’s kind of hidden away from the buildings and lifeguard station. We could try there~”

“Take a picture of it tommorow, and I’ll figure out a time we can go,” Evan said with a nod, glancing at Connor as they turned into Connor’s camps parking lot.

“Will do~” Connor said with a smile, nodding. He let go of Evan’s hand for a moment and unbuckled, leaning over and pressing a kiss on his cheek. “Love you~” He said with a warm smile, getting out of the car.

“I love you too!” Evan said with a smile. “Go straight to bed, okay? Please?”

“Anything for you, baby~” Connor said with a chuckle, waving before closing the door and walking away from the car.

Evan chuckled, driving back to his own camp.

Evan yawned quietly as he leaned against the wall, waiting for a minute for it to actually be eight before he flipped on the lights. “Good morning everybody-“ -
“Nooo, not the lights!” Jared groaned, covering his face with his blanket. “It’s too earlyyyy,” Michael whined, rubbing his face with his hands. “That’s because you guys stayed up late talking,” Liam stated, shooting a playful glare at the boys. Jared flipped off the blonde, making him gasp with a giggle. “How rude, right Evan?”

“Heyy, Jared, put that away,” Evan said with a chuckle, rubbing his eyes a little. “Yeah, you guys were still talking when I got back- so you gotta live with consequences~” he said with a laugh, crossing his arms.

“Ooh, y’all are in trouble~” Liam teased, making Jared roll his eyes as he sat up and climbed out of bed. “We just weren’t tired, can you blame us-“ “WOAH, WAIT A DAM MINUTE!” Michael shouted, making the other boys groan and glare at his noise. “You said ‘when you got back’- Where did you go last night, huh? To see your secret lover~?”

Evan blushed a little, rolling his eyes and walking over to his bed. “No, cause I was going to get you all snacks-“ he said matter-of-factly, holding up the bag of goodies up.

Michael gasped, jumping up. “SNACKS!” “Jesus Christ, be quiet,” Jared groaned, the other boys agreeing as they all got out of bed and started getting ready for the day. “I didn’t know they were letting counselors leave to go shopping-“ “Oh, they don’t, but they do it anyways,” Jared replied shrugging. “They let that slide, and yet you get in trouble if you fraternize with the enemy? Damn, sounds like a skill issue-“

“How do you know all this stuff, Jared?” Evan said with a chuckle, starting to pack some of the snacks into his backpack. “And they said they loosened the rules a bit this year- but we still have a curfew.”
