“I bet,” Liam said softly. “But you were so brave~”

Jared blushed a little, chuckling softly as he rested his head on Liam’s shoulder.

“You guys are really happy, huh?” Evan said with a. grin, crossing his arms. “Yeah,” Liam said softly, rubbing Kared back.

Jared smiled, hugging Liam close. “GUYS, SOMEONE TAKE A PICTURE OF ME!!” Michael shouted from up at the top at the last zipline, waving down at the group.

“I gotcha,” Evan called back, pulling out his phone to tape Michael. “Nice, Michael!” Liam called, giggling.

“Wait, someone video me as I go down!” Michael called out, waving at them. Jared looked away, feeling uneasy just staring up at his friend.

“I am, go for it!” Evan called, waving. Liam glanced at Jared, rubbing his low side.

Michael stepped off and cheered as he slid down, soon landing at the bottom. Jared buried his face in Liam’s shoulder, exhaling softly as he avoided watching Michael. “Hell yeah! That was fun!” Michael said, chuckling softly as he unhooked himself.

“He’s okay, hun,” Liam said softly, holding Jared close. “Heck yeah, dude! That was awesome,” Evan said with a smile, moving over to Michael.

“I know, sorry,” Jared mumbled, exhaling softly. “I just don’t like watching it,” he said with a quiet sigh, rubbing his face with his free hand. “Lemme see the video!” Michael said, moving over to Evan.

“I know, don’t apologize,” Liam said softly, rubbing Jared’s back. “Okay, okay,” Evan said with a chuckle, turning the phone around to show the boy.

Jared kept his gaze away from the phone, exhaling softly. “Doesn’t it look cool?!” Michael exclaimed, chuckling softly.

“It looks very cool,” Liam said with a nod, smiling gently.

“Can we go? I don’t like it here,” Jared murmured, exhaling softly. “What? C’mon, I wanna do it again!” Michael exclaimed, looking back at the ropes course.
