“It’s not that bad, I promise- It’s better than climbing down, super controlled you can close your eyes,” Evan said softly. “Jare, hun, it’s okay, you’re gonna be okay,” Liam said softly, doing his best to wrap is arms around his boyfriend.

Jared exhaled shakily, calming down a little in Liam’s arms. “Fine, just- get me off this damn thing,” he muttered nervously, reluctantly letting go of the pole.

“C’mon, let’s speedrun this thing,” Liam said with a soft smile, letting go of Jared. “The fear doesn’t control you, alright Jare? You got this!”

Jared exhaled shakily as he continued forward, finally making it to the drop off area. “You comin’ up?” Michael asked from above. “Hell no,” Jared retorted anxiously, gripping onto the rope. “Ah, you droppin’ down~?”

“Yeah, he’s done,” Liam said with a chuckle, glancing up at Michael. Evan had gone up with Michael, creeping behind him.

“So, I just- Drop down?” Jared spoke nervously, peering off the edge. He quickly backed up, his back bumping into the pole. “f---ing hell-“

“No, you gotta hook yourself up,” Liam said, grabbing a blue line and hooking Jared up to it, disconnecting him from the main one. “Evan’s supposed to do that, but don’t tell anyone-“ he giggle, pressing a kiss onto Jared’s cheek.

Jared flushed red and chuckled nervously, a small smile on his face. “Right, yeah-“ He stepped a bit closer, peering off the edge again. “f---, I’m scared, Bug-“ He spoke shakily, looking over at Liam with fear all over his face.

Liam frowned a little bit, rubbing Jared’s back. “Want me to go first? I’ll show you, it’s not bad, I promise.

Jared nodded nervously, exhaling shakily as he clung to his rope.

“Okay, okay, hun, breathe,” Liam said as he unconnected Jared and connected him back onto the main wire. He connected himself, looking Jared in the eyes. “Watch, you just step off, you can close your eyes, and you’ll only really drop for a second-“ he said, jumping off and getting caught by the wire almost immediately.

Jared exhaled shakily, watching as Liam slid down and soon reached the bottom. He carefully connected himself back to the line and stepped closer to the edge. He whimpered in fear for a moment, clinging to the rope.

“Babe! You’re so brave, you got this!” Liam called, disconnecting himself.

Jared shook his hands nervously before grabbing onto the rope again, stepping off and dropping. He let out a fearful yelp and squeezed his eyes shut, soon making his way down to the ground. His feet touched the ground and he let out a gasp, exhaling shakily. “Jesus f---ing Christ, that was awful,” he muttered, quickly unhooking himself.

Liam squealed happily, rushing over and hugging Jared close. “I’m so proud of you, y’know that?”
