“I like the sound of that~” Lucy spoke with a smirk, pressing a kiss on Nick’s jaw.

“Good,” Nick said with a smirk, looking up as a waiter came over and lead them to their table.
(maybe it’s karl and he notices she’s toxic??) -
(ooh, yes u^u)
“Hey, you two~ My name’s Karl, and I’ll be your waiter this evening! Shall I start you guys off with some drinks?” The brunette said with a smile, setting down the two menus. Lucy sat down in her chair, picking up the menu and ignoring the waiter. -
“Uh-“ Nick paused, glancing at the menu for a second. “I’ll have a sprite- Lucy, don’t want something to drink?”

“I’ll take a water,” Lucy replied curtly, barely glancing up from her menu. Karl smiled awkwardly, nodding. “I’ll be right out with your drinks~” He spoke before turning, walking off.

Nick thanked him quietly, fiddling with his hands under the table. “So, uh, what kind of foods do you like?”

“Hm, I like Mexican- Not Taco Bell mexican food, but like real, authentic Mexican food,” Lucy replied, her voice appearing more peppy than earlier.

“Hm, yeah, that’s so real,” Nick said with a smile, nodding. -

what if like, when they order food, nick orders smth and lucy is discreetly like, are you sure you wanna get that? it’s kinda fattening- don’t you wanna stay in shape for football? and then orders for the both of them and karl’s like, erm, what?)
“I’m also a fan of Italian, but I feel like there aren’t as many good Italian restaurants around here,” Lucy said, sighing. -

“Yeah, I love Italian food too,” Nick said with a small smile, glancing down at the menu.” -
Karl came back a little later, setting down the two drinks. “Here you go~” He said with a smile, setting down two straws. “Are you two ready to order?”

“Thank you,” Nick said with a polite smile, glancing back at the menu. “Uh, yes, I will have the cheeseburger, and switch out the coleslaw with the fries, please-“

“You’re getting burger?” Lucy asked, letting ahint of disgust into her voice. “Doesn’t your coach like, want you to eat healthier? Stay fit for football?” She took a sip of her water, sighing softly. “I know my coach would be upset if I wasn’t on my diet.” Karl furrowed his brows slightly, watching the blonde for a moment before looking back at the ravenette.

Nick paused, glancing up at Lucy for a second before nodding. “Yeah! Yeah- that’s true, I’ll- I’ll get-“

“He’ll have the caesar salad,” Lucy spoke curtly, barely glancing at Karl. The brunette nodded hesitantly, jotting down the orders on a small notepad. “Will that be all?” He asked, and Lucy nodded in response, handing Karl the menus.
