Nick chuckled quietly, pecking her lips. “So- wanna go grab something to eat~?”

“Yeah, sounds good~” Lucy said, smiling happily.

“Alright,” Nick said with a smile, standing and grabbing her hand and the empty popcorn bucket.

Lucy smiled and gently squeezed Nick’s hand, standing and following him out of the dark theatre.

Nick hummed softly, throwing away their trash as they walked out and headed to the car.

Lucy leaned into Nick’s side, humming softly. “Where were you thinking of going to eat?”

“I was thinking Nikki’s,” Nick said, looking over at her with a smile. “The diner down the street.”

“Ah, right! Totally forgot, how stupid of me,” Lucy said with a chuckle, putting a hint of sadness in her voice.

“What? You’re not stupid,” Nick said with an awkward chuckle. “Don’t worry- I don’t think I specified in the text, anyways.”

“It’s okay! Nikki’s is a great spot, anyways~” Lucy said, smiling at Nick

“Yeah,” Nick said with an awkward smile, trying to ignore how bad he felt for making Lucy feel stupid.

Lucy looked over, hiding her smirk as she watched Nick’s expression. “Hey, it’s okay- I should’ve just asked sooner, don’t worry~” She spoke in a sickeningly sweet voice, leaning closer to the ravenette’s side and kissing his cheek.

“No! No, it’s my fault, don’t worry,” Nick said with a forced smile, opening her door for her once they got to the car.

“You sure? I hate seeing you feel bad~” Lucy spoke, pressing a kiss on Nick’s lips for a moment before getting in the car.

Nick watched her for a moment with a starstruck look, his lips pressed together before nodding and moving to the other side of the car. “Yeah! I- yeah, it’s fine, I promise.”
