Karl came back a moment later, handing Nick his card. “Have a lovely evening you two~” He said with a smile, watching them for a moment. “Great, let’s go,” Lucy said with an eye roll, pulling away from Nick and walking towards the exit. Karl watched Nick with a worried look, asking if he was okay by giving him a thumbs up.

Nick gave a weak smile in return as he got pulled away, his heart starting to race.

Karl smiled nervously back, exhaling softly as he watched him get dragged off. I hope he’s okay, he thought anxiously, crossing his arms over his chest as he turned and walked off. Lucy led Nick outside, heading towards his car. -

“Can- before we do it, hun, can we find a place like, not on the street so people might not look in?” Nick asked nervously, -
“Yeah, of course- I don’t give a show for free~” Lucy joked, giggling softly as she kissed Nick’s cheek.

Nick giggled awkwardly, moving to climb into the drivers seat.

Lucy climbed into the car, buckling up. “I’m sorry if I seemed on edge, I’m just- Just nervous, I suppose,” she spoke after a few moments of silence, exhaling nervously. “I just- I’ve never really had a proper boyfriend, and I just- I feel like I keep f---ing it up, and-“

Nick paused, taking a deep breath. “It’s- it’s okay.”

“Are you sure? You can tell me if I’m being too forceful or anything-“ Lucy said, looking over at Nick.

“Mhm,” Nick said with a forceful smile. He didn’t want to actually voice his opinions in fear of making her mad or thinking she was stupid.

Lucy nodded, hiding her satisfied smirk. “Shall we get going~?” She asked, resting her hand on Nick’s thigh.

Nick smiled uncomfortably, glancing back at the road. “Yeah, lemme just get to this parking lot up here-“

Lucy smiled and nodded, rubbing Nick’s thigh with her thumb.

like maybe afterwards they’re talking and she brings up jolie and it breaks nick and maybe Clay calls him and he’s really upset)
Nick parked in the somewhat empty lot, unbuckling and turning to face Lucy, waiting for her to do something. -
(ooh yeah, i like that- we wanna drag it out a bit longer or go ahead here in a bit with the dumping?)
Lucy unbuckled and leaned over the center console, kissing Nick’s lips. “God, you’re so hot~” She murmured with a smile, running a hand through his hair.
