George pulled away after a moment, peppering kisses around Clay’s face. “God, you’re so sexy~”

“You’re sexier~” Clay said with a chuckle, admiring George with a lovesick grin.

George giggled quietly, sitting up. “Lowkey wanna go back in the water. What do you wanna do?”

“Honestly, I’m fine with anything, so if you wanna go back, I’ll join you~” Clay said, smiling as he pressed a kiss on George’s cheek.

George smiled widely, sitting up and opening the door. “Race you there!”

“You’re literally cheating,” Clay said with a laugh, climbing out of the car and chasing him down.

“Catch me if you can!” George said with a laugh, chucking his towel with their stuff and sprinting down to the water.

Clay laughed and followed after George, soon catching up and passing him as he ran into the water.

“Hey!” George said with a laugh, leaping onto Clay and wrapping his arms around him to push him into the water.

“f----“ Clay exclaimed, falling forward. He splashed into the water, laughing as he tried to stand back up. “Help! My boyfriend is drowning me, help!!” He jokingly shouted, chuckling.

George laughed, letting go of Clay and standing, ruffling his hair. “You’re fine, calm down~” he said with a laugh, holding out a hand to help him up.

Clay chuckled and took George’s hand, standing to his feet. He gently squeezed his boyfriend’s hand, smiling happily. “I- I know that you might not feel the same way yet, but- I really do love you, George. And I- I totally don’t mind if you’re like, not comfortable enough to say it back or whatever, I promise- I just, really had to say it-“

George raised his eyebrows, slightly speechless for a moment. “Uh- okay. Cool. I dunno know to respond to that-“

“You- I mean, you don’t have to say anything back, I-“ Clay let go of George’s hand, exhaling. “Sorry, I- I made it awkward again, didn’t I?” He clenched his shaky hand into a fist, looking around for a moment. “Sorry, I- I didn’t mean to-“ He took a shaky breath, staring down at the water.

“Yeah, a little bit,” George said with a quiet chuckle, wringing his fingers together. “Dont- don’t worry about it, dude, it’s fine.”
