“I know, but I think you should- I mean, what if you did fracture a rib? You need to make sure it gets healed properly,” Connor spoke, rubbing Evan’s back.

“I know, I know,” Evan said quietly. “It just pisses me off that I might have fractured a rib.”

Connor nodded shortly, pressing a kiss on Evan’s head. He hummed softly, continuing to rub his back

“Can I get something to eat?” Evan whispered. “Or both of us?”

“Yeah- Want me to get it for you?” Connor asked, sitting up and looking over at Evan.

“Yeah, but I’ll come with you,” Evan said softly. “I kind of want to get up.”

Connor nodded and stood, stretching. He offered his hand to Evan when the brunette stood, walking out of the room and downstairs. “What do you want to eat?” He asked, gently rubbing his hand with his thumb.

“I dunno, something small,” Evan said quietly, glancing around the kitchen.

Connor nodded, thinking for the moment. “Want some chips or gummies?” He asked, gently squeezing Evan’s hand.

“Gummies, please,” Evan said with a small smile, glancing over to Connor. -
Connor smiled and pressed a kiss on Evan’s cheek, letting go of his hand and walking over to the pantry. He grabbed a couple of packs of gummies, handing a few to Evan and keeping the others for himself.

Evan smiled, thanking Connor quietly and taking the gummies. He carefully pushed himself onto counter, wincing slightly before opening the gummies and eating one.

Connor watched Evan for a moment, exhaling softly. “God, when I go back to school, I’m gonna f---ing murder those b----es,” he muttered, aggressively opening the pack of gummies in his hands.

“Connor, they’re not worth it,” Evan said quietly, frowning as he ate another gummy.

“I know, but-“ Connor tossed the pack onto the counter, clenching his hands into fists, “they can’t just keep getting away with this bulls---! I’m so f---ing tired of the teachers just, ignoring the bigger picture!!”
