"That's totally fine," Karl said with a small smile, nodding. "You wanna take a quick power nap? Recharge your batteries a bit, refresh your brain??"

“Uh, yeah,” Nick said after a moment, lifting his head and nodding. “But- but please wake me up after twenty minutes.”

"You got it, love~" Karl said with a smile, nodding. "Do you still want the PB 'n J? Well, once I finish it??"

Nick shook his head, letting go of Karl and starting towards their bedroom. “No, I just want to sleep-“

Karl nodded, watching Nick go off. He quickly put away the stuff before following Nick into the bedroom. "You want me to set an alarm or something?" He asked softly, walking over and sitting down on the bed.

“Yes please,” Nick said softly, crawling into bed next to Karl. “Twenty minutes.”’He mumbled, his face in the pillows.

Karl nodded and set an alarm on his phone, watching Nick anxiously. He was tempted to do longer, let him get more rest, but he didn't want to make him any more stressed. He set his phone down and laid beside his boyfriend, wrapping his arms around him and hugging him close. "I love you," he murmured softly, pressing a kiss on the side of his head.

“I love you too,” Nick mumbled, wrapping his arms around Karl and letting his eyes drift shut.

Karl hummed softly as he rubbed Nick's back, holding him close as he waited for him to fall asleep.

Nick jumped a little bit when the alarm went off. He had barely even fallen asleep and honestly felt worse, but he sat up a bit and rubbed his eye.

Karl glanced over at Nick, seeing him wake up. "You sleep well?" He asked gently, rubbing his boyfriend's back with his hand.

Nick hummed quietly, subconsciously leaning closer to Karl. “No, not really.”

Karl frowned a little, wrapping his arms around Nick's waist. "Are you gonna go back to studying?" He asked softly, although he already knew the answer.

“Karl, I have to,” Nick said quietly after a split-second of silence.

"I know, but-" Karl exhaled softly, letting go of Nick and sitting up. "Is there anything I can do for you, to help you not be as stressed? Do- I can help you study, if you'd like~" He offered, a small smile on his face
