"Damn, that sounds like a lot," Karl spoke with a chuckle, resting his head on his knees. "Just- Don't overwork yourself, okay hun?"

“I can’t promise anything,” Nick said with a chuckle, pressing a kiss on Karl’s cheek. “I will try my best not to, okay?”

"You better not, or I'll force you to take cuddle breaks," Karl said, furrowing his brows as he giggled. He leaned against Nick's side, wrapping an arm around his waist.

Nick giggled quietly, looking to his laptop and tying somthing in. “Yeah, it’s all super simple so far. Just introductions and explaining lesson plans.”

"That's good," Karl replied with a slight nod, watching Nick as he worked.

About half an hour to 45 minutes later, Nick closed his laptop with a dramatic sigh. “I’m done!”

"Hooray!" Karl said with a soft laugh, smiling. He hugged Nick and pressed a kiss on his lips, humming with content. "Shall we celebrate finishing your first day of classes? I uh, may or may not have DoorDash'd some ice cream~"

“Aw, thank you honey,” Nick said with a chuckle, tossing his laptop to his side in the couch. “I would love that~”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl giggled and let go of Nick, standing up and stretching. "I got a carton of cookies and creme, hope that's good~" He replied as he walked into the kitchen, going to the fridge and opening up the freezer.

“Yeah, that’s fine,” Nick said with a shrug, standing after Karl and staying close to him.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl hummed as he pulled out the carton, setting it on the counter. "Now, which box had the silverware and bowls," he muttered, surveying the boxes on the floor for a moment.

“Uhh,” Nick glanced around, flipping open some of the boxes until he found them. He alerted Karen that he found the bowls, taking two out and putting them on the counter.

"Ah, thank you~" He said with a smile, opening up the container. He grabbed two spoons and began scooping ice cream into one of the bowls, putting one spoon in it before handing the bowl to Nick. -

Nick smiled, taking it and thanking Karl. He took a bite, humming happily. “Oo, this is good s----“ -

Karl giggled, scooping himself a little bit of ice cream. "Yeah, it's good. I had a bit earlier~" He said with a chuckle, taking a bite of his ice cream.
