Nick set his bag down next to the counter, giving Karl a tired smile. “It was good! Long, but good.”
-
Karl smiled sympathetically, nodding. "I feel that," he said, giggling softly. "You need a hug?" He asked, holding out his arms.
-
“Oh my God, please,” Nick said as he kicked off his shoes. He padded over to Karl, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend and resting his head in his neck.
-
Karl giggled and hugged Nick close, kissing the side of his head. He gave him a gentle squeeze, slowly swaying where he stood.
-
Nick lifted his head up, looking around the living room behind Karl. “The living room looks really nice, hun.”
-
"Why thank you~" Karl said with a smile, glancing over. "I worked very hard- God, it was a struggle making the coffee table," he muttered, glaring at the table in the room. "Never building IKEA furniture ever again."
-
Nick giggled, resting his head on Karl’s shoulder as he continued to study the room. “I bet you did work very hard,” he said softly, giggling as he pressed a lazy kiss on Karl’s neck.
-
"Mmm, thank you, love~" Karl spoke, giggling softly. "Do you wanna cuddle for a bit or do you have school work you need to start on?" He asked, rubbing Nick's back for a moment.
-
“Mm, I need to start on schoolwork,” Nick mumbled, leaning onto Karl. “But we can still cuddle a little while I do it~”
-
imsoclueless Senior"Sounds like a plan~" Karl replied with a smile, squeezing Nick again before letting go. "Wanna do it in our, newly-decorated living room, made up by yours truly?" He asked, giggling softly.
-
Nick let out a tired chuckle as he grabbed his bag, heading towards the living room. “I would love nothing more~”
-
Karl giggled softly and walked into the living room, watching Nick sit down. "Do you want a drink or a snack or anything?" He asked, running a hand through his hair.
-
“Uh, nah, I think I’m good,” Nick said with a shrug, grabbing his laptop and a book or two out of his bag. He set the laptop on his lap and the books next to him. “Thank you, though.”
-
Karl nodded and moved to sit on the couch, sitting on his other side. "Whatcha got for homework?" He asked, hugging his legs to his chest.
-
“Uh, it’s all mainly introductions and stuff, but a little bit of it is worksheets and starting large projects for the semester,” he said, glancing over to Karl. “And it’s only for three of the five classes I have this semester- Biology, Psychology, and philosophy.”
