Quinn shook his head. 'In a f---ed up family there's lost potential. At least you'd have good memories,' he said.

"I guess," Elliot murmured in response, nodding slowly. "I really don't remember too much, since I was so young. Most of my oldest memories are of the Huntress..."

'Do you have any siblings?' Quinn asked, turning his gaze to him.

"No, it was always just me and my mother," Elliot replied, running a hand through his hair. "If I did, I don't remember."

Quinn nodded thoughtfully. 'Right. And she died in the Aftershock 4?'

"Yeah. I made it out, but she didn't," Elliot muttered, crossing his arms over his chest. "Sometimes I wish she made it out alive instead of me..."

Quinn put his hand on Elliot's knee. 'She wouldn't have wanted that.'

Elliot blushed and looked over at Quinn, a small smile on his face. "I know, but I just- I can't help but think about it..."

Quinn smiled softly. 'I get that. She'd be proud of you now, though.' -
A small smile crept onto Elliot face and he nodded, looking back down at his lap. "She would be proud," he repeated quietly, his hand subconsciously moving to Quinn's hand that rested on his knee.

Quinn smiled wider and nodded. He leaned back against the couch on his side, hand still on his knee.

Elliot exhaled and looked down at his lap, seeing his hand on top of Quinn's, whose hand was on the ravenette's knee. He quickly pulled his hand away, chuckling awkwardly as he crossed his arms over his chest. "So uh, do you- do you live here by yourself?" He asked, glancing over at Quinn.

Quinn blushed lightly and removed his hand. ‘Yeah, I do,’ he said. ‘But sometimes my father visits. We’re not exactly on good terms at the moment… or ever.’

Elliot nodded, chuckling softly. "I certainly know what that's like," he replied, crossing his arms over his chest.

Quinn chuckled. 'Do you not have a good relationship with your father?'
