Quinn blushed as he looked over at Elliot, then back at his arm, which had extinguished. ‘I’m all good!’ he called back. He sighed and pulled his goggles on his forehead.
-
imsoclueless Senior"What happened, set yourself on fire?" Elliot joked, sitting back down in the chair.
-
‘Close, but no. I set my arm on fire thinking about… nevermind,’ he muttered the last part, holding up his arm so he could take a better look. ‘But I’m not going to be able to fix this at home.’
-
imsoclueless Senior"Don't you work at a droid repair shop?" Elliot asked, glancing back towards the kitchen. "I feel like I saw something about it on the news once."
-
‘Oh god, what else have they been saying about me?’ Quinn said, walking into the lounge room. He had grime smudged on his cheek and hand. ‘And yeah, I do. But I don’t really want to leave you alone in case those officers come back.’
-
imsoclueless Senior"I'm sure I'll be fine, if I just hide in your room or something," Elliot replied with a chuckle, crossing his arms across his chest and watching as Quinn walked in. His face turned red and he looked away, his heart beating fast. f---ing hell, he's hot-
-
‘I guess so, but still. It wouldn’t feel right leaving you alone when you’re a wanted fugitive with a shot leg,’ Quinn pointed out, raising an eyebrow when Elliot turned away. He noticed the red on his cheeks and smirked. ‘Why’re you blushing, Valkrum?’ he teased.
-
imsoclueless SeniorElliot turned a brighter shade of red, glaring playfully at Quinn. "None of your business, Everest," he retorted, sticking his tongue out at the blonde haired guy. "I'll be fine, just go get your arm fixed."
-
Quinn laughed. ‘Okay, okay,’ he grabbed a sticky note and wrote his number down then handed it to Elliot. ‘There’s a phone in the kitchen. Call me if you need anything, okay? I’ll only be a few blocks away.’
-
imsoclueless SeniorElliot nodded, watching Quinn for a moment before giving him a thumbs up. "Aye aye, captain," he teased, saluting Quinn with a chuckle.
-
Quinn chuckled softly. ‘Thank you. I’ll see you soon, ‘kay?’ He grabbed his coat and put it on to hide his lack of left arm. ‘Don’t break anything. And don’t look in my room.’
-
imsoclueless SeniorElliot nodded, watching Quinn as he shut the door. He sighed and leaned back against the chair, a smile appearing on his face. He's too cute for his own good, he thought with a quiet chuckle, sitting back up as he grabbed the TV remote, turning it on.
-
Quinn walked down the sidewalk, attaching the broken arm to his shoulder. At least the magnet still worked, and it still fit on his shoulder. He walked to the repair shop and into the staff only door, where workbenches were set up with tools and materials lining a majority of the walls. He sat down at his workbench and threw off his coat, then set his arm on the bench and got to work.
-
imsoclueless Senior"So, what'd you do to your arm this time?" Quinn's boss, Harley asked, poking her head into the staff room. "Damn, it looks pretty bad. Let me know if you need any specific tools, but I've got a client comin' in soon, so I can't help."
-
Quinn sighed. ‘These things are so fragile, I swear to god,’ he said, not turning around to face her so he could keep examining it. ‘Cut the wrong wire and the whole thing sets on fire. We really need to create better models.’
