"Mm, fair," Eloise said with a nod, turning to the list of characters. "I'm aiming for Missus Potts, to be honest. She'd be a fun role to play." They paused, looking at Havyn and staring at her for a moment. "I think you'd make a good Belle. You look like a Belle."
-
Havyn chuckled. “If Belle was Hispanic.” She paused. “But thank you.”
-
"You don't need to be white to play Belle," Eloise retorted, frowning. "God, I hate it when people think, 'Oh, I have to be this race to play this role' or whatever. It's so dumb! I mean, Halley Bailey played Ariel in the live action Little Mermaid movie, and she ATE," she added, smiling proudly. She glanced over to see the door open, watching Elliot walk back in.
-
Havyn laughed. “I was kidding! Halley Bailey was really good, you’re right.” She watched Elliot walk in and her smile faded slightly.
-
Elliot sat down in his seat, pulling out a pair of earbuds and putting them in. He turned on some music, opening the script and scanning through it. Eloise sighed, watching him for a moment. "He'll get around to apologizing, just- give him a bit to decompress." They said as they looked over at Havyn, gesturing to Elliot.
-
Havyn nodded. “I’ll apologize to him.” She said before trying to talk to him, but her words weren’t even wording right in her own head, so she’s isn’t bother saying them out loud.
-
Eloise nodded, turning her attention back to her script. "He's really not a bad guy, just- a bit complicated." Elliot crossed his ankles, flipping through the script as his music filled his ears. He wasn't even really reading it, he just needed to look like he was. Letting my anger get the best of me, f---... He thought angrily, clenching a fist. He exhaled, trying to calm himself down.
-
Havyn nodded. Isnt everyone?… She looked up at Elliot. “Uhm… Elliot?” She asked, hoping he wouldn’t snap at him.
-
Elliot flinched at the touch, whirling around. He exhaled, pausing his music and taking out an earbud. "What?" He asked, his voice coming out harsher then intended. He exhaled, setting his phone in his lap. "Sorry, yes? What is it?"
-
Havyn backed up from him slightly. “I… I- just… I wanted to say I’m sorry.” She mumbled.
-
Elliot paused, his face heating up. "No, I- I'm the one who should be sorry," he muttered awkwardly, crossing his arms over his chest. "It's really not your fault."
-
Havyn raised an eyebrow. “You’ve been snapping at me all day over it, I ought to at least apologize for doing it.”
-
"Well- Yes, I guess you're right," Elliot added, tensing up. "f---- I'm no good at this, am I?" Eloise giggled, resting a hand on Elliot's back. He tensed at their touch before relaxing, leaning back in his seat. "You can continue with your apology, it that's what you'd wish for."
-
Havyn chuckled. “Look, it wasn’t cool of me to try and take revenge, ok?” She stuck out her hand. “Can we restart this whole meeting each other thing all over again?
-
Elliot chuckled quietly, nodding. "Yeah, that- that sounds nice," he said with a small smile, shaking Havyn's hand. "Aww, see? I told you, he's just a big ol' teddy bear," Eloise teased, wrapping their arms around his neck. "Shut up," he muttered, shaking them off.
