"Sure," Eloise replied with a smile, nodding. Elliot nodded in agreement, opening up his binder. "Who else do we add?" Eloise asked, looking around the classroom. "Ooh, maybe we can get away with just us three in a group, I hate working with people I don't know," they muttered, sighing. "You work with people you don't know all the time," Elliot replied, tilting his head towards his friend. "You're literally about to do it now, considering you just met Havyn yesterday."
-
“That’s different.” Eloise argued. Havyn chuckled.
“I can ask the teacher if you want.” She offered. -
"Yes please," Eloise replied, slumping back in their seat. Elliot shook his head at his friend, chuckling.
-
Havyn walked over to the teacher. “Can me, Elliot, and Eloise work in a group of three instead of four?”
-
"Yeah, that's alright, as long as there's no one left over who needs to be put in a group," the teacher replied with a nod. Elliot took another glance around the room, checking to see if anyone was looking for partners.
-
Havyn nodded. “Sounds good.” She said with a smile. She looked around to see if anyone needed a partner. She didn’t see anyone.
-
"Yess," Eloise said aloud with a sigh, sitting up. "No new people," they said, giggling as Havyn walked over. Elliot rolled his eyes, already working on the assignment.
-
“Introvert.” Havyn teased- although she was a bit of a hypocrite for saying that. She looked at Elliot and noticed her working on the assignment. “So what’re we doing?”
-
"It looks like it's a sort of puzzle assignment? We have to solve the equations, match the answers up to the table here, then solve the puzzles with the answers the equations match up with," Elliot replied, holding up the papers another student had passed him. "Ew, puzzles." Eloise muttered, groaning. "I may be decent at math, but that doesn't mean I'm good at puzzles."
-
Havyn chuckled. “Well, I’m not good at math at all, so…”
-
"Guess I'm doing all the work then, huh," Elliot teased, smirking. "So I can leave? Great, see you-" Eloise joked, jumping up from their seat. "Hell no, sit down," he said with a laugh, grabbing their hand gently and tugging them back into their seat.
-
Havyn laughed, grabbing her pen. “Alrighty, let’s see what these puzzles are.”
-
Elliot sighed when Eloise groaned, turning towards the papers to work on the assignment.

(We can timeskip if you want lol)
-
(yeah lol)
"Alright, I think we made some decent progress," Elliot said as he closed his binder, putting it in his bag. "I'm so braindead now," Eloise complained, collapsing dramatically on the desk in front of them. "All those puzzles hurt my little brain..." Elliot chuckled, shaking his head at his friend.
