1x1 or multiplayer rp:
everything seems to be fine. you're living your life with your family and friends, you're doing great at your job and everyone is happy. but not for much longer. all of a sudden, a "virus" breaks out, and people are slowly being contaminated and corrupted, changing into zombie like creatures. and there seems to be no way in solving this problem- when a person (or group of ppl) find out char A is immune to the virus. so they have to keep them alive, or else everyone may be doomed.
(we can do chars from the game, or OCs, either is fine with me :D
i would like to play char A, but i can be any character lol
lmk if there's any questions that needed to be answered :)) -
I am 100% interested!!!
I have played the games, and watched the series!
Would you like to start out like the first one does, where is happens 15 years after the initial outbreak, or do you want to do it differently? -
YES! awesome!!
srsly such an awesome game, tho i have yet to play it ^^'
i do know a bit of the lore, but not too much :')
and i think that'd be a good place to start, a good few yrs after the outbreak :) -
It is so worth it, if you ever get the chance too!
I can help out with lore, if needed!
Would you like us to just RP as Joel, and Ellie with our own twists, or OC'S? -
i so need to, i've watched some gameplay, but only a bit of the first game and like, the back half of the second game lol
ooh, i think that'd be a good idea, use the og chars but add our own twists on it u^u
i would like to be ellie, if that's okay ^^'
also, heads up in advance i may not be able to reply too much these next few days, as i'm v busy, so apologies in advance :') -
I finished the first one. I haven't finished the second one yet. I am at the halfway point, and am only fueled by rage to know reasons for certain things.
I am okay with that!!
You're good! Would you like to start, or would you like me too? -
XD mood
and if you could start that'd be great, i'm v tired n brainded rn, i've done a lot of running around lol -
(I gotchu!)
The new city had a stench to it, but it was one that Joel had gotten used to. Half of the jobs he worked dealt with newly infected, or cleaning sewage from within the city limits. On the side, he traded with guards and worked with the Fireflies once in a while. Was it want he wanted to do? Hell no. But after the virus struck, and he lost his daughter; a part of his humanity slipped away.
As Joel grabbed his 'cash', or what the city deemed as such he headed to his apartment building. He received a message through one of the guards that Marlene, the leader of the Fireflies wanted to meet up with him. Something about delivering a package to an out-post just outside the city. It wasn't a task he would normally take on. The days of him venturing outside, and dealing with the infected were now scarce; but the price Marlene was willing to pay made it seem like one hell of a deal. As he had been thinking about what it was that Marlene could possibly want transported, he arrived at his apartment building. From where he was, he could see Tess in the window, and he smirked.
He made his way upstairs, to let Tess know they were about to embark on their next adventure.
(I figured we could start off the same, then veer off whenever we meet up! Or whatever you would like to do!) -
(yeah, that's good! i gtg here most likely after this tho, it be getting late and i am jam packed tomorrow lol)
Ellie sat in an abandoned apartment room as she waited for Marlene to return, patience slowly draining as she waited for her and whoever would take her to the Fireflies were. She rolled up her sleeve, inspecting the bite mark on her arm. She couldn't explain it, or even make sense of it in her head, but she was, essentially, immune to this zombie-apocolypse type virus. The bite was three weeks old. Three weeks. If she hadn't already turned, then she must be safe. And there must be some reason why.
Tess looked over at the door opened, watching Joel walk in. "So? What'd she say, are we gettin' our guns back??" -
(i can play tess, if that's fine :))
-
(I completely understand! And you can! I don't mind at all!)
Joel chuckled at Tess. Somehow, she always knew. "You read my mind." he smiled, walking past her to go into the living room. The backpack was still there, next to the couch like he had left it this morning. "So, on top of getting the guns. Marlene says she has a package she wants us to deliver." He picks up the bag and slings it over his shoulder. It has all of his necessities in it; bandages, a bottle of whiskey, a couple of shivs, a map (just in case) and some bullets for the pistol that was belted around his waist.
Joel took a deep breath, because he could see the disapproval in her face. "Now, I know what that look means." he said, walking toward her. "But from what Marlene says, the price she is paying for us to deliver this package safely; is worth it."
He knew that Tess was worried. This wasn't their first rodeo, but they did make a promise to each other. No more big gigs, but this was an opportunity that they couldn't pass up. Especially since it would at least have them in a comfortable spot for months. -
"It better be worth it," Tess muttered, running a hand through her short hair. "It better pay off, or else Marlene's f---in' done for." She sighed, sitting down in a nearby chair. "So, what's this 'package' we're taking?"
(sorry for the short reply, i'm so tired rn xD) -
(It's okay! I completely understand!)
Joel looked at Tess and shook his head. "See, that's where we are in the dark." He slung his backpack over his right shoulder. "She won't tell me, until we meet up with her. The most she'll tell me is "It's important"." He sighed for a moment and brushed his hand through his hair. He knew how Marlene ran sometimes, and there wasn't getting any information out of her. "You know how Marlene is."
Joel walked up to the front door and placed his hand on the doorknob. "So, you coming with?" He looked at Tess. They had been through a lot together. One more adventure wouldn't kill them, or at least he hoped. -
Tess paused for a moment to think before sighing, standing and grabbing her things. "Yeah, yeah- Can't pass up a chance to get our guns back, considering how badly we need them," Tess replied with a low chuckle, nodding. "Plus, I can't lose you just yet," she added, nudging his arm. "I need someone to use as a human shield to protect myself."

(Sorry my response took so long!)
Joel just shook his head and laughed. Tess made him feel better about any situation he got themselves into. He opened the door to his place and made his way outside.
Time Skip
Joel heard gunshots radiated in the hallway that him and Tess had just entered. He knew that they had to be close, but Marlene normally hid her quarters very well. If someone was already here, that wasn't a good sign. He motioned to Tess to take cover on the opposite side of the hallway. She nodded and ran over to the other side. Joel took a deep breath. He could feel his heart racing in his chest. Joel peeked out from the wall he was hiding behind, pistol gripped in his hand. He saw a person he didn't recognize that aimed for his head and shot. Joel dodged to the side quickly, aimed at the man and fired. He didn't like resorting to violence, but if he had too, he would; and in this case it was necessary. He watched the man falter for a second and fall to the ground.
Before Joel knew it, there were at least three other people running down the hallway, guns drawn. He slipped behind the safety of the wall. He looked at Tess and motioned for both of them to go out at the same time. It would be easier for them to take them out together, than either of them going out alone.
