"What're you laughing about?" Ernest said, chuckling.

‘You’re a little red,’ Mahina said with a chuckle.

"Am not." Ernie said, trying to stop blushing. It didn't work, and just made him blush harder out of embarrassment.

Mahina laughed. ‘You sure about that?’ she giggled.

"Oh, shush." Ernest laughed, shaking his head.

‘No. I refuse to shush,’ Mahina laughed.

"Why not?" Ernie chuckled.

‘…. Because I can.’

"Dumb reason." Ernest moved so he stood closer to her.

‘Nope,’ Mahina chuckled. She noticed him moving closer to her, but thought nothing of it.

"Yes it is!" Ernie laughed.

‘Is not!’

Ernest rolled his eyes. "It is and you know it!"

‘No I don’t! I don’t know at all!’

Ernie elbowed her. "Well then you're just plain wrong, because it's a VERY dumb reason."
