Ernest narrowed his eyes. He grabbed the satchel carefully. "Mind if I see it?"

‘Er.. yeah, sure,’ she said nervously, figuring it’d be even more suspicious if she said no.

Ernie looked at the inside. It was WAY bigger than any normal bag should be on the inside. He looked over at her. "Whaaaat is happening?" He asked, setting the bag down like it was a bomb.

‘What do you mean?’ Mahina asked nervously, trying to play dumb

Ernest cleared his throat. "The bag. Obviously."

‘What about it?’

"Look at it." Ernie showed her the maaagic bag. "Does that seem weird to you? How big it is on the inside?" He didn't mean to sound quite so much like an investigator, but he did.

‘No..?’

Ernest raised an eyebrow. "You're suuure it doesn't seem odd?" He said skeptically.

‘Yeah!’ Mahina said, nodding. ‘It’s just a.. big bag…’ She couldn’t think up a good enough lie.

"So you're saying I'm crazy?" Ernie said, knowing that wasn't the case. He went insane over books, not bags.

‘I… think so?’

Ernest set the bag down. "Come ooon, just tell me the truth." He groaned. He wasn't sure what he wanted the truth to be, but he knew he didn't like knowing she was lying to him.
